We'll be doing adult boot sizes (probably up to UK size 11) next season. We should have plenty of stock by July 2007. If you're interested in buying some send an email to info@81footballboots.com and we'll send you an email reminder nearer the time.

my sunday league team play in red and white stripes and i think the black /red /white boots would look cool. Only problem is, i'm a size 7, and you only do up to size 6. Are you planning to do bigger sizes? If so, when?

I'm a believer of the traditional black boots at the age of 19. So to surrport you guys, with the vey few black boots I have at the big sports store I work at in Norwich Chaplefield, done a main display of the best black boots on offer to date!
Best of luck in bringing black back!!

My mate got a pair of your boots and played propert good in them. I asked my mum for some to make my game improve but she said no. I am now saving £2.15 a week from my job at Whacky Warehouse and hope to have a pair soon. Their the best boots I've ever laid eyes on.

I bought some of your boots and tested them out on Queens Park in Burnley and they made me play really good and run faster. My mate Ian Pinder said he closed his eyes and thougt he was playing against Winston White.
Thanks for them.

Many thanks for your comments so far.
Re coloured boots, just to reiterate that we have nothing against people buying them, we just want to give players the choice not to. The major football boot manufacturers are obsessed with bright colours and bladed soles, and that is reflected in what is available on the high street. It's interesting to note that on the website of a major UK sports retailer, of the 39 different junior football boots available, none of them are black with screw in studs. What kind of choice is that?

Bought a pair the red and white ones for my son, received them Saturday and he played in them on Sunday. They looked great with his red and white kit and got many envious looks from all the other boys. Tom said the boots were really comfortable, and he actually managed to score a goal!!! Thanks 81, these were a great buy!!

Heard Michael on the radio. I hope your boots do well! It was a shame that the co-presenter Mike Parry didn't let you put your point across without butting in all the time. I did wonder why he mentioned saving the whales when you had called a 'sport' show - didn't realise whale SAVING was a sport! Anyway all the best - my kids will both be having a pair they think they are awesome!

I have to agree that people can wear wat they want, but a new piar of PLASTIC F50s costs £100+...
Black boots are at least made of proper leathernot flimsy plastic that people wear because it "makes your ball curve" or "increases the power of your shot" or "increases you performance on the pitch"...all it increases is sports companies' profit margins. I have no problem with colour (althogh black looks really cool) but at least make the boots from proper leather!!

Leave the boot colour to what fotball players want!
If they want to risk injury let them
You cant force people to wear black boot, its peoples choice these days. Welcome to the 21st century where people have a choice!

Yes i heard you on the radio too thing is personally i prefer white boots so they stand out more, but you do make an interesting point that there has been more injuries about lately. A problem is im 14 with size 11 feet that supports chelsea and if Blackburn fans buy the blue and white ones then it wouldnt show i support chelsea it would show i support Blackburn, i would maybe buy some if you made some more strips for them in bigger sizes.

I admire your idea and will certainly be purchasing a pair of your boots. I've just heard your chat with Mike"Porky"Parry & Andy Townsend on Talk Sport and agree with what you had to say. The only problem is that your a dingle & I am a proud Rovers fan but since your boot is available in blue and white, I can deal with that!

Love the idea of a classic football boot designed how boots should be. Quality not Qauntity. Like to see a colour palet for the trim.
